Looking to gain experience in event planning? Indiana Market & Catering is currently seeking interns to work with our event planners on a flexible part-time schedule.
An intern must have the following qualities:
A sincere interest in entering the high energy world of event planning.
Computer skills- working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet,
Journalism, Communications, or English Major would be a plus, or
Hospitality major with background knowledge of F&B
What does an intern do?
All aspects of event planning including but not limited to:
Creating Proposals, Client Contact, Writing Contracts, Site Visits, Décor Planning, Working at Events

Although this is an unpaid internship, Indiana Market & Catering promises its interns cutting edge knowledge of the event planning and catering industry during their tenure at the company. By directly working with private and corporate clients as well as vendors, interns are given an opportunity to enhance their abilities in organizing, negotiating and listening.
